BREAKING NEWS
We interrupt this program for a special report. We have reason to believe that someone’s cancer has been abducted and taken out of state. The cancer was last seen in the lymph nodes of this person’s abdomen and neck, and also on his scalp. Upon a routine PET scan on Thursday, the cancer was declared missing. The cancer was last seen being led away by a person of interest who goes by the nickname “Chemo.” There is no reward being offered, and all efforts to return the cancer to it’s owner have ceased.
Repeating our top story, after his most recent PET scan, no cancer showed up in the lymph nodes or scalp of a Winter Park, Florida man today. We have reporters on the scene who will update us after an additional PET scan at the end of September once treatments are completed.
We now resume normal programming, already in progress.

Scott,
Great news! What a way to kick off the weekend! Keep up the good spirits. Now we can focus on the next golf outing. Give my love to the family and let Fran know I still have the goodies I picked up for her in London.
Best wishes,

THANK GOD!! When I first heard about “this”, I was just devastated. I moved to Florida in August 2001, from NY, right before the World Trade Center bombing. Every week I have read your blogs. When you first spoke of this illness, I cried like a baby on the way to work. I commute to Orlando every day from Indian Lake Estates. When I listen to your show I’m not as homesick as I usually am, missing my kids and NY. I’m so thrilled for you and your sister. Scott, you are one in a million. BUT, Erica I love you too — even love your new hairdo!!! Diane

Scott, What fantastic news! You and your family are sure to be celebrating this wonderful news this weekend. This is nothing less than answered prayer! I have read your blog from start to finish and I must admit you made me laugh and cry….mostly it touched my heart. Your blog has been such an inspiration to me. I have told everyone I know to check it out. I knew from the beginning that if there was anyone out there who could give cancer the one two punch it would be you. God bless you and your family! I will continue to pray for you and your sister.

Dear Scott,
I just learned of your cancer today & read your entire blog. I am so excited about your most recent post! You keep on kicking cancer’s ass! My best friend was diagnosed with stage 4, glioblastoma, in her brain in Feb. She had the tumor removed & went thru radiation/chemo combo & now chemo treatments for 6 months. SHE inspires me, YOU inspire me! May God Bless you & your family! I love listening to you & Erica in the morning…but I missed your diagnosis…my daughter was taking the bus & I didn’t get to listen as often. In Sept, the network anchors are Standing up to cancer….a good idea because like you said, cancer can strike anyone, anytime. My daughter’s 7 yr old friend, was just diagnosed with ALL - a form of leukemia. We will keep you in our prayers!!

Hi Scott,
I just wanted to say one Thank God for having all of Orlando’s prayers answered in that your cancer has gone away. We will continue to pray that it stays lost and never to be found again.
I have been a fan of yours and Erica’s for many, many years and am sad to say that I am leaving Orlando temporarily, for at least a year. It is for a good cause and the best part of it is that I will be back.
Being born and raised in Orlando you eventually belong to other people’s families. You are part of my family and I will miss you and Erica but another blessing is the internet. Don’t worry, I’ll still hear you every day will still feel like I’m still here.
I want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me many, many happy memories. My best of luck to your health and for the next 25 years with Mix 105.1 and give my best to Erica.
Love and Prayers,
Lorrie Robertson
