Note to chemo:

You don’t get to take my hair (on my head).

Tonight’s the night…

hmmm, IF your hair does a disappearing act through chemo (it’s not a given that it will but you mentally prep for it anyway), then….when it reappears….wonder what you will look like with blond curls? Or as a redhead? Or with black/brown waves? The possibilities are endless and your girls are going to have fun with it.
    Hats rock….
Please pass our best wishes as well to your sister and our prayers include her as well.
Big hugs from a stranger (via cyberspace you won’t catch any germs!)

Now you and Jay can rock the same haircut! Sure isn’t anything wrong with a couple of baldies :)

I’m a realist. People say things like it’s no big deal to lose your hair and you’ll be cool about it. We know how much hair means to you and this will be one of the toughest parts. But, if it means killing the beast, then you gotta do what you gotta do. Hang in there, friend. Prayers are out for your sister too. You’ll be resting this weekend, but we look forward to hearing you Monday.

Scott, I would cut my hair for you!!! But quite frankly I think you will be handsome in bald (Like Jay) My hair means as much to me as yours does to you! So me cutting my hair for someone is really something! Rest this weekend and my prayers for you and your sister. BTW love the family photo! God Bless you and yours.

I’m such a control freak I think I’d have my head shaved and then give the chemo a big raspberry and say, “Nah, nah beat ya to it!” Good luck with the chemo. My prayers to you and your family, including your sister.

    Hey Scott -

You’ve got the right attitude to get through this with flying colors, and you have a terrific support team… at home, at work and here in the community. Those two things will carry you the farthest. Both of my parents had cancer… Mum survived… Dad didn’t… but it wasn’t for lack of trying. You’re pretty healthy, and you have so many other things working in your favor, that I KNOW you will beat this. So just take it one day at a time… you will find your way through!!

    BTW… loved the family portrait!!!

    All the best…
