Hi,
I'm Scott's old(er) sister, and I have to say, this is my first time reading his blog. I'm shocked to see my picture (do I look like that?), but thrilled to see all the positive sentiments coming Scott's way. He is so deserving, and where he gets his sense of humor -- I don't know. It's awful for me to tell friends/family about what's happening to me, when his e-mails are full of jokes, humor, and laughs. I am like the guy Friday on Dragnet (I think that's the name) - I just tell the facts, the plain facts. At any rate, just want to say 2 things - I LOVE my brother, and although this disease can go "bye-bye" anytime it wants to leave our bodies, I find great comfort traveling this journey with my little brother. And 2, is I thank you all, for your prayers and kind words that you send thru Scott, to me, a stranger. I absolutely feel your vibrations and know they will be the medicine to see both of us through this. To all those people, who joined the "cancer" club without taking out a membership, please know my thoughts and prayers are with you, as well.

Scott, we just wanted to tell you that we are praying for you and your family (including your sister) and hope that your upcoming treatments work well. We are loyal listeners who feel like you are an extended family member. We have listened to you & Erica in the morning for many years and have been fortunate enough to have had "The Scott & Erica morning show" & MIX105.1 touch our lives in more than one way. We recently got married and had an awesome experience with Jay as our DJ. We can definitely understand why you enjoy working with him every day. A few years ago when you did the fund raiser for the Second Harvest food bank and allowed donations for song requests, we were able to hear one of my husband's band's songs played over MIX105.1. It was also quite an experience. You mentioned in one of your other blogs about how your family's reaction to all of this has been some tears, but more laughter and having a positive outlook. Keep that up and your strength will be more than a match for the cancer. Take care and know that there are many, many people here in Central Florida that are praying for you.

I am so sorry to hear about your sister. The prayer chain will include her as well. Good luck tomorrow with your chemo treatment. Remember we will all be with you in spirit ( because all these people that care about you certainly can't fit in the treatment or waiting room) As I have said previously remember God will never give you more than you can handle! :)

Scott, I just wanted to tell you... I have listened to you and Erica since you were on the air and I have met you a couple of times. I was so shocked to hear that you had cancer... it was like it was someone that I knew very well... not that I do - but it just felt that way! I am Praying for you and your family and now your sister!!! I am reading your blogs and keeping up. I listen to you for about an hour each morning and I listen to your voice to see if it is quivering in any way and I am very glad to hear that it isn't. I realize that your first treatment is tomorrow and I wish you ALL the best and I hope the side effects are bearable and don't effect you negatively in any way!
